When owner and founder Mark Hobbs first moved to Greenville, he experienced one of the most frustrating things a homeowner faces. He wanted work done on his home but could not get anyone to call him back. Despite calling numerous contractors, no one would return his call. Months went by before he finally connected with a quality contractor. That experience motivated him to put his years of experience to work for the people of Greenville so others would not experience that same frustration and delay.

About Mark

Meet Mark, the owner and founder of Artisan Home Solutons. Mark is a devoted husband and loving father to a cheerful little girl. Born and raised in Virginia, Mark has had the privelege to live all across our beautiful country. Now, he’s proud to call the Upstate home.

With 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, Mark has held a variety of titles from Director of Construction to Senior Estimator. For several years, he worked as senior analyst at the Pentagon in Arlington, Va. When you meet, be sure to ask him how many miles he walked to work– from inside the building. His experience includes: industrial construction, multi-family dwellings, independent living quarters, specialty care living facilities, home renovation, and custom projects.

Construction and client service is in Mark’s blood. He learned at the knees of his father, who owned a contracting company in Virginia. Staring his own contractor service is Mark’s way of returning to his roots. There’s nothing he enjoys more than meeting new people, solving construction problems, and helping clients achieve the home they’ve only dreamed about. Mark is committed to becoming your go-to phonecall when you need work done on your home or property.

When he’s not working, you can find Mark spending time with his family, rock-climbing, or trail-running. In fact, if you go early enough, you might catch him running the trails at Paris Mountain!
